What Would You Do In This Situation?

I came across this story online and I was flabbergasted.

Danielle Whipple, a 24 year old single mother was arrested for beating her child who flushed their rent money down the toilet because she (the mum} refused to watch TV.

The woman's neighbours reported to the police because they heard the child crying and heard the sound of smacking. When police arrived at the scene, they found Whipple' child, whose gender and age was not released, with a black eye, a bleeding nose and a red handprint on the face.

Subsequently she was arrested and now faces a charge of felony child abuse.

Now, I am in no way in support of child abuse, but i want to throw it to my fans: How would you react if your child deliberately flushed N162,000 house rent money down the toilet because you refused to watch a movie with him/her?

Note that $720 is about N162,000 in Nigerian currency...

How Do I Handle A Stubborn Girlfriend?

We started dating in 2011 after a year of asking her out. I just love her naturally not for anything. Admittedly, her stubbornness might be partly due to my over pampering at the initial stage of our relationship, I was naive but I think 4 years is actually a long time for the love to be balanced. Ministerial List: Buhari Begs PDP Senators

In Love With 2 Different Pretties Bearing Same Name

I don't know how it all happened but I found myself falling head over heels in love for both cuties bearing same name (JULIET)

Funny enough, I saved their names with the same name (sweetheart1 and sweetheart2).
To measure the feeling is equal and I don't pretend about it.

Unfortunately for me today, something really crazy hit me.

I booked a date with one of the ladies.
While I was waiting for her arrival for more than an hour, I decided to call to know why she's been delaying, not knowing I called the other cutie who happens to stay in lagos.

She cried all through the phone conversation.

Quite funny that I have equal feeling for both cuties.

Six Policemen In Custody For Killing 33-year-old (Pictured)

Police Stray Bullets Kill 33-year-old In Lagos Community
Where Policemen who trailed some suspected robbers to their alleged hideout in Ilaje community, in the Ilaje-Ajah area of Lagos State on Monday caused confusion after stray bullets from their guns killed a 33-year-old man, Orimisan Emmanuel.

Six policemen have been arrested and detained at the Force Criminal Investigations Department Annex, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos State, for the killing of a 33-year-old, Emmanuel Orimisan, in the Ilaje-Ajah area of the state.

Our correspondent gathered that the six officers, whose names had yet to be ascertained, were attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.

They were said to have been rounded up on Wednesday, September 30, after investigations showed that they were culpable in the killing.

PUNCH Metro had reported on July 21, 2015, that the officers, who trailed some suspected robbers to their alleged hideout in Ilaje community in the Ilaje-Ajah area, caused confusion when they shot Orimisan dead.

It had been reported that the deceased, said to be an apprentice, was sleeping inside one of the buildings in the community and had come out when he heard sporadic gunshots. The bullets hit him and he reportedly died instantly.

Orimisan’s elder brother, Adeogo, had told PUNCH Metro that the policemen, who accused the deceased of being a suspected robber, also took away his corpse.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the policemen were, however, arrested by operatives of the FCID and detained over the death of Orimisan.

A source close to the family told our correspondent that petitions from the National Human Rights Commission and other human rights groups which put pressure on the police, led to the eventual arrest of the officers who had gone on the raid on that day.

He said, “There were six policemen who came to the area on that day. All of them are now in custody. Since July, the police slowed down investigations on the matter, but the family kept on writing petitions to the right groups. Eventually, the six of them were picked up last week.

“They are in the cell as we speak, and there are indications they will be taken to court before the end of the month.

“The boy was neither a cult member nor an armed robber as the policemen initially claimed. He was not married and he lost his father just last year. They shot him and also took his corpse away from the scene. But after the pressure mounted on the police by rights groups, the officers have now been arrested, and we learnt they will be taken to court very soon.”

The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olabisi Kolawole, had yet to reply to a text message sent to her phone on the incident.

Nigerian Army Nabs Fake General Alleged To Be Boko Haram Sponsor (Photo)

The Nigerian Army has arrested a suspected Boko Haram sponsor, Aliyu Hussaini, who was also said to be pretending to be military brigadier general.
Military authorities said in a statement on Tuesday that Hussaini was apprehended by soldiers of the 33rd Artillery Brigade in Bauchi State during the course of a raid.

“The 33 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Army, has recorded another landmark success in the ongoing Operation Zaman Lafiyah as troops of the brigade recently arrested one Aliyu Hussaini, popularly known as Colonel, a suspected Boko Haram terrorist and an Impostor who has been parading himself as a Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army.
“The troops, who were acting on a tip-off, said Aliyu Hussaini was a sponsor and also a member of the Boko Haram terrorist organisation. (They) carried out a raid operation, which led to the successful arrest of Aliyu and another suspected Boko Haram member, one Ibrahim Mohammed, who is also known as Yuram.

“It was later gathered that Aliyu had been defrauding innocent citizens (with the claim) that he was a general in the Nigerian Army.”
