You might be wondering why i choose to live off campus…Yes i
have several good reasons why i choose to live outside school
campus….Let me mention but a few…1, I detest sharing
apartment with four different individuals..2, not knowing how
hygienic their lavatory might be…3, the fact that i cant cook, use
stove or any cooking utensils inside the hostel when i felt like
pisses me off real time and kept me away from school
hostel….Yea i know some of you going thru this might say its not
a very good reason or i wanted to have those opportunities of
messing around with girls since i have a whole apartment all to
myself…Well whatever, all i know is that i ended up having one
after all the squabbles and hectic time i went thru…But it was
rewarding…Though the house was a little far from the school yet it
has its benefits….The compound has free tap water system..So no
roaming about the whole town looking for borehole or paying for
water…Water problem solved lets move over to another
thing..There were in all 8 rooms in the compound with 4 separate
toilets and bathrooms….Let me give details of how it was
shared…


The landlord and his family occupied 3 rooms out of the 8 rooms
and uses 2 separate toilets & bathrooms leaving 5 rooms and 2-2
lavatories each behind..


Next was my next door neighbour, whom i fondly called dede Uche
(dede is an igbo title which signifies an older brother or one’s
elder)…He was a man with a family of four, a wife by name chioma
and three children (two beautiful daughters and a son, named
ogechukwu, vivian and denise, aged 20, 16 and 7
respectively)…They occupied 2 rooms while i stayed at the next
room adjacent theirs…So we shared one toilet and bathroom
together…

Then was another family of 6 leaving in the next room and finally
another group of 3 female students that occupied the last
room…They with the family of 6 shared the last lavatory….
This story actually revolves around dede Uche’s second daughter
vivian who was still a virgin as at then and how i ended up

It wasn’t all that long after i settled down there before the family

Eden Hazard said he was eager to recapture the form he displayed in Chelsea's title-winning 2014-15 campaign to help the club recover from the disappointments of last season and bring the Premier League trophy back to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea launched one of the worst defences of the league title in living memory last campaign, finishing 10th in the final table 31 points behind champions Leicester City.

"I want to be the best, like I was two seasons ago. I said -- after the season like this -- I wanted to stay at Chelsea because I didn't want to finish like this," Hazard told British media.

The Belgian winger's 14 goals helped Chelsea become the English champions for the fifth time in 2015 and earnt him England's Footballer of the Year and the Players' Player of the Year awards.

The goals, however, dried up last season for the 25-year-old, who netted just four times in the league.

"We've got to show to everybody we are Chelsea, we're big players, we're a big team and we didn't finish in a good place last season. Now we want to do better and win the Premier League. We need to do this," Hazard said.

Hazard also said if he was to ever leave the west London club, it would only be as a Premier League champion.

"When I was in France (with Lille), I finished my last game with a hat-trick and that was a good time to leave. And if I must leave one day, I hope I can finish good here and be a champion again," he added.

New Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has already strengthened his squad with two big-money signings in striker Michy Batshuayi and midfielder N'Golo Kante.

It was a mixed day for the big names at the Rogers Cup in Montreal on Thursday as Wimbledon runner-up Angelique Kerber and fifth seed Simona Halep progressed, while Venus Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska bowed out in the third round.

Kerber had to overcome a slow start, but she eventually got the job done against Elina Svitolina in a 1-6 7-6 (7-2) 6-4 triumph, while Halep had no such issues in her straight-sets win over 14th seed Karolina Pliskova.

Johanna Konta also progressed, while Svetlana Kuznetsova overcame fellow seed Petra Kvitova, but the third round proved the end of the road for Williams, who lost to compatriot Madison Keys, and Radwanska, who bowed out against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, while Roberta Vinci was also knocked out.


KERBER WINS DESPITE STRUGGLE

It was far from easy for the second seed, but Kerber got it done after a marathon effort against 17th seed Svitolina.

Kerber copped a 6-1 hiding in the first set, and was in a precarious position as the second set went to a tie-break, but she managed to recover.

The German will hope the physical toll of the match - which lasted two hours and 15 minutes - will not cost her later in the tournament.

There were no such issues for Halep, who beat Pliskova 6-3 6-3 in just over one hour of play as she pounced on her opponent's second serve.

Pliskova only put in 53 per cent of her first serves, and Halep punished her accordingly, winning 68 per cent of points returning the second.

Johanna Konta knocked out Varvara Lepchenko after her 6-3 6-2 triumph, while Kuznetsova was a 7-6 (7-2) 6-3 winner over 12th seed Kvitova.


WILLIAMS BOWS OUT

Williams recovered well initially against Keys, but she still went down to her fellow American 6-1 6-7 (2-7) 6-3.

Radwanska was also beaten, suffering a 6-4 6-7 (4-7) 6-1 loss to 16th seed Pavlyuchenkova.

Vinci was the other big name to fall, as the seventh seed lost to the unseeded Daria Kasatkina 7-5 6-3.

Belinda Bencic has joined Roger Federer in withdrawing Switzerland's tennis team for Rio 2016.

Switzerland will be without Belinda Bencic as well as Roger Federer at Rio 2016 after the world number 16 announced her withdrawal from the Games.

Bencic had been expected to be part of the Switzerland squad along with Timea Bacsinszky in Brazil, however she has been struggling with a wrist injury sustained at Wimbledon.

The 19-year-old – who reached the US Open quarter-final in 2014 – has not featured on the WTA Tour since retiring ahead of her second-round match at the All England Club against Julia Boserup.

And although she has recovered from the injury, Bencic says she will not be ready for Rio and instead will turn her attentions to the US Open after the Games.

"It is with a heavy heart that I have to withdraw from this year's Olympics," she posted on Twitter.
"Although I have recovered from the wrist injury that I sustained at Wimbledon at the end of June, I am behind in my training schedule and am therefore not completely ready to take part.

Several reports from Nigerian media on Thursday, July 28 say that he donated the sum after he joined the squad on Monday, July at their camp in Atlanta, United States.

Reacting to the reports, Mikel Obi said he was informed by a friend who called him from Nigeria.

"I don't know the source of this story which to me is all out to divide us as a team. I would have thought that stories that should be coming out in the media are stories that will unite the team instead of dividing us,” he told the official website of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Obi Emelonye set to premiere boxing themed movie at BAFTA

Obi Emelonye's "Oxford Garden" is set to premiere at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts building.

Obi Emelonye's movie"Oxford Gardens", which premiered in Nigeria in 2015, is set to premiere in London.

The movie will premiere at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts building on September 30, 2016.

The movie, which marks the second collaboration between Africa Magic and Emenlonye’s production outfit, The Nollywood Factory, was shot in London, and tells the tale of love, struggles, redemption and the sport of boxing.

Just as expected, Kanye West is a big fan of Kim Kardashian's selfies, and what's even better is that he has had his fair share too.

 

Among the many topics Kanye West addressed while covering the latest edition of Harper's Bazaar with wife, Kim Kardashian, was her epic nude selfies.

Knowing just how unconventional the couple's relationship really is, it was hardly surprising when the rapper admitted to not only loving the 35-year-old model's nude selfies, but approving of them too.

Apparently, the couple have a weird love for nude selfies as Kanye goes on to reveal that he did his fair share of nude selfies back in the day.

Speaking during the interview which was published today, July 28, Kanye revealed that he did his own nude selfies before getting married to Kim in 2014.

"I used to do nude selfies in my single days. You'd get a good c--k shot here and there. Gotta keep it rock 'n' roll."

Unlike Kanye who seems to have hung up his boots in the nudity department, Kim seems to be in her prime, with hardly any signs of slowing down.

Speaking on his wife's nude selfies, Kanye likened Kim without her nude selfies to Adele not singing. He said:

"I love her nude selfies. Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked; I love nudity. And I love beautiful shapes. I feel like it's almost a Renaissance thing, a painting, a modern version of a painting. I think it's important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing."

Especially after the backlash she faced after her latest nude selfie in March, Kim was eager to explain her reasons too.

"I love a selfie in the mirror. I was about to get in the shower; I took a nude selfie, kept it in my phone for over a year. I just liked the picture, so I was like, 'Let me put censor bars on it and post it.'

"I don't do things to be like, 'This is powerful. I'm going to show you guys that this is my 'message.' I'm not that type of person. I'm empowered by it, but I'm not doing it specifically to show power."

Obviously surprised by the reaction she got, the 'Selfish' author added:

"That's what was so shocking. And when I put the bars on it, it was more covered up than a bikini!"

Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has revealed why he's taking his time not to rush into marriage despite his close relationship with Yvonne Nelson.

Ghanaian born actor, John Dumelo has revealed that he's not planning to rush into marriage despite the urge to do so.

In a recent chat with media men in Lagos, Dumelo said he has grown to understand that most marriages are failing because people go into it with a wrong mindset.

In his words, "I have seen a lot of people talking about marriage, a lot of people getting into marriage early, and divorcing early.I think people just love the idea of marriage but don't know how to stay in marriage."

 

 

Continuing, he said, "They like the idea of love but don't have the idea of how to stay in love or be in love, so since I have some followers, I decided to put it in writing and advice people not to rush into marriage because your friends or cousins are getting married or because you want to have beautiful wedding pictures. Marriage is making it work and that is what is failing a lot of marriages these days because people go into it with the wrong mindset.

However, Dumelo didn't completely write off the idea of following the steps of Chris Attoh, who is married to a Nigerian saying if the opportunity comes, he won't shy away from it.

Christian Siriano might not be the every-girl's go-to designer, but he certainly is an every-celeb designer.
If you do a quick scan of his Instagram feed, you'll find that there's very few women in Hollywood who haven't sported one of his detailed, form-fitting designs—even Michelle Obama donned a royal-blue CS number at this year's Democratic National Convention.

Sure, it's not hard to build a loyal fan base when you come out of the gate dressing supermodel (and Project Runway host) Heidi Klum, but ever since being crowned the Season 4 winner back in 2008, he's established a reputation in the industry for celebrating all body types with his custom designs.

Just this year, Siriano designed a red-carpet gown for comedian Leslie Jones when no other designers would. "I can't wait to create something special for her to wear…I support all women no matter age or size," noted Christian. And, he partnered with plus-size retailer Lane Bryant to collab on a collection, starring Ashley Graham.

As the designer continued to gain esteem, he started dressing even more Hollywood It Girls of all shapes and sizes. Loyal starlets, like the Mad Men actress, stuck around, but he also started working with a variety of fresh-faced stars, many of which also happened to be petite in stature.

Jump forward to present day, and there's no body shape Siriano doesn't want to work with (Jennifer Hudson! Danielle Brooks! Jaimie Alexander! Kerry Washington!). Even athletic shapes are made feminine in his designs. A pint-sized Jada Picket Smith looked curvy at NYFW in an embellished, layered skirt on bottom and bold shoulder pads up top to add a bit of volume. A youthful Maisie Williams looked shapely, too, in a darling A-line skirt at the designer's 2014 presentation.

To accentuate the fuller figures of Olympian Lindsey Vonn and funny girl Amy Schumer, the designer created minimal, cocktail attire, which looked clean and classic on both. Mayim Bialik is a little more dressed up and modest at the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, but in the hands of Siriano, still got the red carpet treatment in her subtly sexy long-sleeve number.


Considering celebs with specific body types tend to prefer certain brands (think: Chanel and lean celebs, Dolce & Gabbana and hourglass-shaped stars, Tadashi Shoji and fuller-figured beauties), it's nice to see a versatile designer who can handle them all.

'The Cosby Show' child star's husband, Ed Hartwell, reportedly filed for divorce on Monday, July 25, 2016, exactly one week after Pulliam announced her pregnancy.

Now Pulliam is determined to make him pay, as TMZ reports that she is demanding for their home in Atlanta as well as all her assets which she acquired prior to their marriage and all she made during the eight month period.

Even more appalling is the fact that Hartwell's divorce filing states that they had no kids, despite the fact that Pulliam is obviously preganant. Pulliam made sure to emphasis that a child is expected of the marriage, a point that just might get her everything she wants from the divorce.
