A Lionel Messi fan swam a kilometer from the shore to meet Messi who was vacationing in Ibiza just to take a photo.
As a football star, Lionel Messi is idolised by millions of people all over the world who would do anything for a photo with him.
That is exactly what Suli
did; the football fan from Cueta-a Spanish city on the north of
Moroccan coastline- swam a kilometer from the shore to meet Messi who
was vacationing in Ibiza.
The Barcelona star rented a yacht in Ibiza where he and his family were letting their hairs down before hard works begins for next season.

Suli who is an Atletico Madrid fan was holidaying at Ibiza too when he noticed Messi’s yacht at the Slines beach.
Instead
of taking a boat, the 24-year-old chose to swim 1km to meet Messi. He
was wearing just a plastic bag which had his mobile phone for the swim.
Messi
was informed by his entourage of the adventurous fan and the Barcelona
star invited him into his ycth where they spent 20 minutes together.
The Barcelona star offered Suli a glass of juice before they posed for photos which were taken by one of Messi’s people.
Suli’s phone had gotten soaked by water during his swim to meet his football idol.

“I lost my telephone but I gained a photo with Messi,” Suli told Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo.
“As
he spoke and addressed me, he didn't come across as a global superstar.
He was very humble, very hospitable, both he and his family were
wonderful.”
Suli didn’t have to swim back to his base as Messi arranged a speedboat for his journey back.
